PH Jones boasts four nominations in the heating and ventilation industry awards
PH Jones Limited is proud to announce it has been shortlisted in the forthcoming H&V News Awards. Last year it was pleased to accept ‘runner-up’ as Heating Contractor of the Year 2007, and is now celebrating four nominations being: Heating Contractor, Servicing and Maintenance Initiative, Safety Initiative and Training Initiative.
Established for 14 years, the H&V News Awards are the independent stamp of approval for excellence across the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry.
The Awards include 18 categories, covering initiatives, new products and outstanding achievement.
Safety Initiative and Training Initiative of the Year
The nominations for Safety Initiative and Training Initiative are based on the implementation of a sophisticated e-learning system, which is a unique, cost effective training solution offering a wide and evolving range of bespoke training courses that are completed online. The training is recognised as a CPD standard of training and the system includes an easy to use, in-depth Learning Management System to help organise, manage, track and audit all user training.
Servicing and Maintenance Initiative of the Year
The development and investment in the in-house project management software - Pilot, was the basis for the Servicing and Maintenance Initiative of the Year nomination. In particular the development of text alerts to residents and Bluetooth printers.
Martin Jones, Managing Director commented: “We are delighted to receive recognition for our commitment to achieving service improvements. We are constantly investing in new ways to ensure we deliver continuous improvement. The nominations are testament to the hard work of our staff.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 1, 2008 at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London.
